About this work
Rupert Street Car Park is a post-war modernist multi-storey car park on Lewins Mead in Bristol. Built between 1959 and 1960, it was designed by architect Rudolph Jelinek-Karl with engineer G. C. Mander. It is notable as one of the earliest multi-storey car parks in the UK to use a continuous spiral parking ramp.
