Bush House on Bristol's Narrow Quay was built in 1831, with a northern extension of 1835-36, as a warehouse for the ironfounders D., E. & A. Acraman. Designed by Richard Shackleton Pope and now Grade II*-listed, it has housed the Arnolfini, the international arts centre founded in 1961, since 1975.
