Kensington Baptist Church on Stapleton Road, Easton, opened in 1888 to designs by the Glasgow architect Thomas Lennox Watson. Its Neoclassical front has a pediment and a first-floor loggia of Corinthian columns beneath a panel reading 'BAPTIST CHAPEL'. Inside, galleries run round all four sides. Grade II-listed, it is still an active Bristol congregation, one first gathered in 1831.
