The Galleries

The Galleries opened in Broadmead in October 1991 as a three-level covered shopping centre spanning Fairfax Street in central Bristol, with around 70 shops and a car park of nearly 1,000 spaces. Its entrances include a former pub, the Greyhound. Plans to demolish it for a mixed-use scheme of homes, a hotel and student flats were approved in January 2025.
